Talented Disc Jockey, Newsman, Country music columnist and radio sales rep. That's broadcast veteran Carl J Becker. Carl is Talking About Radio with host John Leslie.
Carl J. Becker started his radio career while still in college in Pittsburgh. From his beginnings at a small station in Ambridge, Pa. Carl quickly found himself working inside the gian radio market of Pittsburgh.
From there he made his mark in Morgantown, Wv, San Antonio, Texas, Richmond, Virginia, Evansville, Indiana, Beaumont, Texas, then back to Pittsburgh.
Once back in Pittsburgh, Carl held numerous positions at the cities most revered radio stations including KQV and the mighty KDKA.
During his stellar career Carl wrote successful country music reviews for newspapers in Morgantown, WV and San Antonio.
Carl's broadcast story is now in the history books at Talking About Radio and will be available to be heard for generations to come. His ancestors and radio fans all over the world will now be able to hear Carl tell, in his own words, about is magnificent career in radio.
